First, I received an excellent Day of the Triffids fanfic for Yuletide this year. So Late Into The Night is Walter Lucknor's journal from after the catastrophe, and it's sad and dark and foreboding, very much in the spirit of the book.

Okay, so Quantum Leap fanfic is hard to write, because (among probable other, bigger reasons like time-travel research, &c.) in canon the main characters really do address each other by their first names, like, three times a minute.
